Okay, so after volunteering at the cat shelter today, one of the women who also volunteered offered to drive me to the bus stop so I could get home. She stopped at the bank where a bus stop was right in front of it, and I got on the bus. Yet, for some reason, I couldn't seem to find my wallet (which has my monthly bus pass in it). Thankfully, the Driver was nice enough to let me stay on while i looked for it as he was driving.
However, I was still unable to find it, I emptied all the contents from my bag and searched frantically, but still couldn't find it. I freaked out, and told him I couldn't find it and to let me off ASAP. Oddly enough, when I was getting off the bus, I ran into my friend , who was getting on lol (I probably weirded her out cause as soon as the bus stopped I jumped out and started running as fast as I could ).
I ran all the way back to where the lady dropped me off, and luckily enough, she was still there. I ran up to the car just as she was getting into it. She noticed I was running, and opened her passenger door. I just began to freak out, saying I had lost my wallet and couldn't find it. Less than 3 minutes later, I saw it in the small area between the passenger seat and the passenger door.
I can't even begin to describe how kind this woman is. She helped me calm down, she gave me some water since I was tired from the quick sprint, and then, even after all of this, and even after I found by wallet and bus pass, she drove me home. I couldn't thank her enough for all she had done for me, and to this moment I still feel my apologies and thanks were inadequate.
I just hope that I can make it up to her one day, and I hope I never almost lose my wallet again @ A @
On another note, I've become addicted to tumblr, and it's taking over my life D:
